We know destination weddings come with lots of questions — here’s everything you need to know to get ready for an unforgettable weekend in paradise.
What airport should we fly into?

Puerto Plata (POP) in the Dominican Republic. Shuttle transportation will be arranged for guests arriving on Friday, September 12, and departing on Monday, September 15.

Where should I stay?

We’ve rented out Hotel Casablanca exclusively for our wedding guests.All bookings will go through our SquadTrip portal to secure your room for the weekend.If you plan to stay elsewhere (Airbnb or nearby guesthouse), we’ll share local recommendations and details in your guest guide.

What dates should I book?

Plan to arrive on Friday, September 12, 2025, and depart on Monday, September 15, 2025. Those are the dates covered by the transportation and main wedding events.

Is airport transportation included?

Yes — shuttle transportation is included for all guests staying at Hotel Casablanca on the official arrival and departure dates:

Arrival: Friday, September 12
Departure: Monday, September 15

If you’re staying elsewhere (Airbnb, other hotels), you’ll need to arrange your own transportation to and from the airport. We will provide contact for that.

Where is everyone staying?

We’ve reserved all of Hotel Casablanca for our wedding guests!
All bookings will go through our SquadTrip portal.

If you’re staying at an Airbnb, we’ll share nearby options and how to join for events.

Can I visit Villa Anacaona if I’m not staying there?

Yes — all guests will have access to Villa Anacaona on the wedding day (Saturday, September 13) for the full day of events. Access on other days is limited to overnight Villa guests only.

What’s the dress code?

For the wedding ceremony and reception:

Men: Long-sleeve button-down shirts, slacks, and dress shoes (no shorts or flip-flops).

Women: Dresses (anything from cocktail to more formal is perfect- whatever you feel beautiful in).

Are meals included?

Yes — on the wedding day (Saturday, September 13), all guests will be provided with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks (including an open bar). Meals on other days depend on your lodging choice.

Will there be a group chat?

Yes! A group text or WhatsApp group will be created closer to the event for real-time updates and coordination.

Do I need travel insurance?

It’s highly recommended. Things happen — a small travel insurance policy can protect your trip in case of delays, cancellations, or emergencies.

Can I arrive earlier or stay later?

Yes! You're welcome to enjoy more time in Cabrera — just note that shuttle service is only provided on September 12 and 15. For any other travel days, please coordinate your own airport transport.

How do I book Hotel Casablanca?

Use our Hotel Casablanca booking link via SquadTrip to view rooms and reserve your 3-night stay (September 12–15).

Is there a full wedding itinerary?

Yes! A detailed itinerary will be sent out closer to the event, including optional activities, shuttle pick-up times, and scheduled group meals.

What should I pack?

Bring light, beachy clothes for daytime, a dressy outfit for the wedding day, swimsuits, sunscreen, bug spray, and your passport. Expect hot days and cooler tropical evenings.

Will there be downtime during the weekend?

Definitely. We’ll have key events scheduled, but you’ll have plenty of free time to relax, explore, or lounge at the pool or beach.

Will there be excursions or activities?

Yes! Optional excursions like beach days, snorkeling, and more will be offered — but these will be at your own expense.

No — this is an adults-only celebration. Only immediate family children will be attending.
