We want you to feel relaxed, stylish, and totally prepared for your trip to paradise! Here's your go-to packing checklist for the wedding weekend.
Wedding Events
- Ceremony & Reception:
- Dressy outfit for our “Classy Dress” dress code
- Men: Long-sleeve button-up, slacks, and dress shoes
- Women: Dresses (light fabrics recommended)

- Welcome Dinner + Villa Nights:
- Smart casual outfits (think sundresses, polos, nice sandals)
- Pool + Beach Days:
- Swimsuit(s)
- Cover-up or casual shorts and tops
- Flip-flops or water shoes
Essentials to Bring
- Valid passport (see Entry Requirements below)
- Printed/digital copies of flight info and hotel address
- Sunglasses and wide-brim hat
- Reef-safe sunscreen and after-sun lotion
- Insect repellent
- Lightweight jacket or sweater (evenings can be breezy)
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Medications (prescriptions, allergy meds, motion sickness pills)
Helpful Extras
- Portable phone charger
- Waterproof phone case
- Reusable water bottle
- Cash (small USD bills for tips, taxis, snacks)
- Camera or GoPro for adventures
- Snorkel gear if you want your own (optional — rentals available)
Entry Requirements
Passport:
- Must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your arrival date.
Visa:
- Most travelers from the U.S., Canada, UK, EU, Mexico, Central/South America, Japan, and Israel do not need a visa to visit the Dominican Republic for tourism.
Round-Trip Flight Ticket:
- Airlines must confirm you have a return ticket before allowing you to board.
Proof of Stay and Funds:
- You may be asked for your Dominican address (Villa Anacaona) and proof you can fund your stay (normal for tourists).
E-Ticket Requirement:
- All travelers must complete the free E-Ticket Form at eticket.migracion.gob.do before boarding their flight.
- You can fill it out any time after booking flights.
- Save or screenshot your QR code — you’ll need it at the airport.
- Families traveling together can submit one form for up to 7 people.
Good to Know
- We'll send a full Pre-Arrival Welcome Kit about 1–2 weeks before the wedding with final reminders, your itinerary, and travel tips.
- You do NOT need to bring pool towels — the villa provides them!
- Keep jewelry and valuables minimal — it’s best to travel light.

Pack your swimsuit, a change of clothes, and essentials in your carry-on just in case your luggage is delayed!
